About Meridian
A Los Angeles Tradition, A New Chapter
Meridian Auction Gallery was founded by Todd Schireson, a fourth-generation Angeleno and third-generation auction professional with more than two decades of experience in the fine art, antique, and appraisal industries.
Founder
Generations of Experience
Before establishing Meridian, Todd spent over twenty years at one of Los Angeles’s most respected auction houses, serving in a senior executive role and developing longstanding relationships with collectors, fiduciaries, estate attorneys, and private clients. His experience encompasses the appraisal, management, and sale of fine art, antiques, modern design, jewelry, and important estate collections.
Raised in a family with deep roots in the Los Angeles auction community, Todd brings a unique understanding of both the business and the personal relationships that define it.
Meridian represents the next chapter in that tradition, combining generations of knowledge and experience with a fresh, thoughtful approach to the auction process.
The Meridian Approach
Serving Collectors, Estates, and Institutions
From individual consignments to entire estates and significant private collections, Meridian provides knowledgeable guidance, personalized attention, and access to an international audience of buyers.
Our services extend well beyond the auction room. From appraisals for estate and tax purposes to inventory management and the eventual sale of property through auction, private sale, or estate sale, we offer guidance through every stage of the process.
We understand that every estate and collection presents its own circumstances and challenges. Our goal is to provide practical solutions tailored to each client's needs, drawing upon our experience and extensive network to achieve the best possible results. Above all, we believe in clear communication, transparency, and professionalism from the initial consultation through the final sale.
